I am just curious, why are people moving from Blogger to Wordpress? What are the benefits? Someone help a sister out with the answer. I am very satisfied with blogger, but it seems i might be missing something, so what's the dealio?
It depends on what you want your blog to do. Blogger is good if you do not need a lot of design aspects and you just want to write. it works and is amazing at that. When you want to build a website, wordpress is just a better platform "under the hood" they provide so many things that although blogger might have, its just not on the same level unless you get a professional to help you.
I have to agree with Lohi, it depends on what you want from your blog. Wordpress offers a whoooollllleeee lot more, but like the case with smartphones, there's no point switching if you'll never use the added features and all you need is the basics
Wordpress lets you customise your blog as much as you want. Anything you could possibly want to do with your blog you can do with Wordpress. Blogger on the other hand is super limited if you're not just trying to straight up blog.

Deletepersonally, I like blogger and it's features...easier to manage than wordpress..esp the funny caricatures...don't like them.
Blogger has not given me any reason to move. I won't follow the multitude.

ReplyDeleteSo in some sense Wordpress is like a smartphone and blogger is like a... uhm.. Nokia (but olden days Nokia o)
DeleteLike a smartphone it has more features, it also costs more than blogger (like a smart phone), and like a smartphone it looks better
(I'm so proud of myself for coming up with this analogy, I shall now go and sip my tea with style lol)
lol. Oya go pat yourself on the back.
